A meeting with a difference. Instead of a speaker at our October meeting, we had eight members of our club, who are artists, display their work. 

 An art teacher of mine once told me that you change from being a painter to an artist when you have sold one of your art pieces. The art work was so outstanding that it was a given that at some stage, all of the artists would have sold something.

 We have eight wonderful artists in our club, which is an outstanding display of talent out of – what – one hundred members! The art on display included abstract and imagery displays in various mediums – oil, acrylic, water colour and pastels.

 Each artist spoke on their “journey” into the art world and explained the meanings behind their paintings. Let me name and thank our artists (in alphabetical order). Sue Collins, Annette Dale, Barbara Enright, Barbara Gardner, Ann Juster, Karl Romandi, Tony Saunders and Fran Williams.
